Ms. Smith's Bio
Jaclyn Smith graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Secondary Education English and a minor in African and Black Diaspora studies. She has been a teacher at Simpson for four years, and loves working with her English classes. Prior to Simpson, she taught English at Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men and gained experience as a tutor at Orr Academy High School. Miss Smith values education as a means to explore & develop one's own identity while creating opportunities for success and achievement. She is currently earning her Master's Degree in School Counseling at DePaul University.
